Top 5 Spring Wedding Color Palettes

The best spring wedding colors are as dreamy as a relaxed Sunday morning, but as festive as a summer Saturday night!

Natural Beauty

The stunning Italian villa setting needs little embellishment. But the addition of dove grey table runners to a color scheme that is basically French blue and white adds unexpected sophistication and highlights the natural surroundings.  Amber and sage — in form of pears, artichokes, and waving grasses complement the aging stone. It’s impossible to find a discordant note here; deep blue goblets and the blue and white china add just a bit of punch!

Coral, Ivory and Blush

This lush tabletop, at first glance, is quite simple. It’s only upon closer examination that the genius of sequined table linen, ornately detailed place card, embossed white serving plates, coordinating flatware patterns and unmatched sets of crystal are revealed. And then the flowers! The different tones and multiple layers are all perfectly orchestrated! Anything other than a classic ivory hemstitch napkin would be distracting.

Ivory, Sage and Peach

This is a color scheme that puts a lot of spring in your step — and brings all the delights of the season to the table. It’s refined, yet animated. Textured ivory table runners and natural linen napkins soften the table’s wood, but keep the setting simple. Vibrant blooms in tones of peach, lavender and mellow green highlight the distinctive floral displays on each banquet table. Sage green anchors the scheme, appears in the china pattern, and runs wild on wedding stationery!

Enchanted by Lavender

Grown-up brides can love lavender just as much as little girls. Combined with white and natural green, it’s a color scheme that shapes a storybook setting for a romantic celebration. Lavender appears in abundance — from patterned table runners and a rainbow of flowers to the “ever after” sign on a vintage automobile. But it never flaunts its presence. Simple white china and silver are appropriate for the natural setting, and the etched crystal echoes the linen’s ornate pattern.

Cream and Rose Quartz

Table linen woven with silver and grey, accompanied by solid silver-tone napkins, create a stunning decorative base for this delightfully busy mix of pale cream, rose, gold and silver. A simple silver urn holds an elaborate bouquet — the combination of sleek calla lilies, lacy petals and green leaves is unexpected, but it works well to center the place settings that feature both white and gold-rimmed china, gold-rimmed and silvered crystal, and a mix of votive light holders.
