Savvy wedding planners start by asking brides about their vision. Kellie McGhee of Florals by the Sea says, “The first two questions are what is the vibe/feeling and what is the color palette?” Next step: select the best linen that reflect the couple’s style and accentuate the bride’s specific desires.
Here’s how linen can make a beautiful whitewashed town hall in Florida’s Rosemary Beach into two totally different directions. We can’t decide which of these gorgeous chic wedding themes we love more!
Romantic Vision

For a spring wedding with pale blush as the preferred accent color, this wedding featured cherry blossoms and lacy white porcelain as the style inspiration. Kellie said, “The Abigail Shantung was the perfect pairing for the bride’s color palette and a floral inspired theme, and made a great statement on the sweetheart table.”

Simple Chic

The ceremony, held in the pristine interior of the building, was a simple affair with airy gold-toned seating and wispy displays of blossoms set atop simple pedestals.
A spring shower did little to dampen spirits as the wedding party gathered outside while inside was transformed into a luxe dinner party. The spirit of the day was reflected to perfection in the ponded water on the cobblestones!

Once again inside, guests were treated to a lavish romantic setting with a mix of pale blush Cameo Shantung for floor length linens, golden-hued Danube Damask napkins, a touch of vibrant floral in the Abigail Shantung for the sweetheart table, and the same golden bamboo chairs that seated guests at the nuptials.

Cherry blossoms and porcelain made stunningly showy centerpieces, and the golden radiance was reinforced with opulent flatware and glowing candlelight.

Simplicity and Location

This charming Rosemary Beach Town Hall is also a perfect setting for a slightly rustic scene. Playing up the bride’s personal desire for an “enchanted forest” theme, Kellie and her team married an elaborately beaded Cleopatra Runner with simple white farm tables and lightweight gold bamboo chairs.

Illusions of Grandeur

Gold is a timeless and stunning way to create magic. The effect was evident during a brief reception following the ceremony. Gold Corsica overlay was used on cocktail tables to weave majesty into the simple outdoor setting.

Guests then retreated into the elegantly simple surroundings of the interior, transformed once again with memorable effect for an elegant dinner. All in all, a perfectly enchanting expression of the bride’s wishes!
