Named after the sea with no boundaries known for its calm blue waters, Sargasso Sea is a boundless and fathomless blue.  Like many other navy blues, this deep and calming hue is a staple for the upcoming fall season.  It’s timeless nature and cool elegance makes it our pick for this month’s Color Crush.

While many dark colors can feel gloomy, Sargasso Sea has a soft and welcoming feel.  That tone is emphasized more when paired with warm sand tones.

Many fashion designers are swapping out black for an effortlessly sophisticated navy hue this Fall.  Many contribute the upbeat nature of the color to the sea of change.  Both classic and sharp, everyone looks good navy – this also has to be a huge contributor to this trend.

Event more than the new black, navy may also be the new neutral.  This well-balanced hue is both rich and intense.  This makes it easy to warm up a pace while offering some accenting contrast.  A splash of this navy hue makes an everyday space interestingly vibrant.

When used as a metallic, Sargasso Sea feels mysterious and luxurious.  The rich blue hue feels like a rich endless night sky that pulls us in deeper.  Soft peach and pink hues pair beautifully with this complex color.
