Social Media & Content Specialist
As a Social Media & Content Specialist, you will serve as a content and social media subject matter expert, working with the rest of the creative team to execute social strategies that help build branded content that is imaginative, original, and fresh. To make a meaningful impact, you will need both an analytical lens and creativity to apply your insights in the best way. You will need to think about marketing, measurement, and forecasting differently while owning BBJ La Tavola’s presence across multiple social media platforms.
In this role, you’ll accomplish:
- Manage and Oversee Social Media Channels: Take full ownership of BBJ La Tavola’s presence across all social media platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, and YouTube. Ensure each platform is utilized to its fullest potential by aligning content strategies with platform-specific best practices and audience expectations.
- Content Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement comprehensive social media content strategies that align with company goals. This includes planning, creating, and scheduling engaging content tailored to each platform, with a focus on increasing brand visibility and engagement.
- Strategic Leadership: Act as the strategic lead, gathering and interpreting information across social marketing efforts, including publishing content, channel strategy, calendar management, measurement, and engagement, resulting in the consistent delivery of high-performing content.
- Analytics & Reporting: Develop reports and detailed strategic plans using analytical tools to increase social media effectiveness. Provide in-depth campaign reports that outline insights on social media engagement, key learnings, and track overall performance.
- Content Creation & Innovation: Conduct ongoing research to help formulate ideas and drive effective creativity while staying ahead of best practices, trends, and new innovations in design, content generation/development, and technology.
- Community Engagement: Monitor social media channels, initiate conversations with, and respond to engagements and reviews based on established brand guidelines and expectations.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify new and unique analytical opportunities by challenging conventional marketing loyalty and tactics to improve social media strategies continuously.
A good fit is someone who has:
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of content marketing experience, including experience with Pinterest, managing Twitter, and a preferred understanding of YouTube.
- Experience managing a brand’s social media presence with a strong social analytical background.
- Previous advertising copywriting experience.
- Proficiency in social media scheduling and distribution tools (e.g., Dash Hudson, Spreadfast, Sprout Social, Adobe, Hootsuite) Preferred
- Ability to excel in a deadline-driven environment.
- Strong interpersonal, customer service, presentation, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to collaborate with team members on projects.
- Ability to receive constructive feedback.
- Working proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
