The Kentucky Derby is a time for celebration. The weather is nice, the ponies are heading out for a gallop around the track, and the mint juleps are flowing freely. What’s not to love about putting on elaborate hats and seersucker suits and toasting to the races?
It’s also a popular theme for springtime parties and weddings. What’s more fun than a Kentucky Derby inspired party? Floral sashes, all things bourbon, and Southern influence all combine to deliver a unique and fun celebration.

This wedding also featured a unique and interesting bourbon tasting, complete with miniature bottles to taste for guests. It was the perfect way to keep people engaged and mingling with other guests, all while trying out some delicious sips.

The cake décor mimicked the look of the floral sash that the winner is awarded at the Derby, and the lavish gold accents were a great match for the gold flatware and charger plates. It’s a perfect look for a luxurious and high-end Kentucky Derby party.
