When Kimberly Rhodes of Hitched Events in Dallas was asked by a client to design a modern style wedding, she relished the opportunity to create something totally fresh and unexpected. The bride and groom-to-be wanted a clean, modern look, or as they put it, “what it would look like if the Apple Store were to have a wedding.” This bride and groom are not alone – many young couples are choosing a more modernistic look in wedding design.
Ultra-Modern Wedding Design: White on White

Working closely with her clients, Kimberly created a sleek, ultra-modern design in purest white to set the stage for the event. High quality linens from BBJ in White Shantung created a brilliant foundation for her design.
“The bride wanted a very clean look for the wedding, which we executed with all white linens and chairs, white dance floor, long king’s tables for guest seating, and a Lucite table and ghost chairs for the head table.”

She added unique details to bring the design together, including a mini-ghost chair for the escort card and a custom frosted acrylic invitation, setting the tone for her inspired wedding design.

The floral designer stepped up to the challenge and created a line of white tulips and greenery in clear vases, marching down the center of each table in perfect symmetry. To bring warmth and a glow to each table, a multitude of white candles were presented in various heights on clear risers. Crystal glassware brought sparkle and light.
