Colorful Minimalism

Usually, muted and neutral color schemes are associated with minimalism. But in 2019, we’ll be seeing the rise of a new colorful minimalism. While designs will still be pared down and efficient, expect to see more pops of vivid color.

Warm Toned Metallics

Metallics have been on the rise in popularity in event design for a number of years. They are super versatile and can be used by themselves, or as accents for many color palettes. In 2018 we saw mixed metals continue to be a hot design trend and while we don’t see that changing this year, we are also seeing designers warm up this trend with warm metallic hues.

Coral Colors

Pantone has announced it’s color of 2019 is a bright, sunny, pinky-orange named ‘Living Coral’. A cheery tone that’s perfect for summer, beach-side events and weddings. Coral is a fantastic hue to incorporate into your color scheme, via everything from coral colored linen, flowers, paper details and so much more.
Retro Vibes

Digging into the past for event design inspiration is going to be huge in 2019. Anything from prints inspired by the 70’s to gold gilded Art-Deco accents, designers will be embracing retro style in their color palettes and design themes.
Scandinavian-Nordic Style

Keeping it clean with, crisp clean lines, simple monochromatic tones and a lack of clutter is what has made the look that of Scandinavian-Nordic style rise in popularity. Paired with personal, eclectic touches, the minimalist trend is a response to the over the top look of the boho era. What do you need to know about this trend? Keep your palette muted, decor minimal and opt for a statement piece such as wall art or lighting.
